There is an option for a short rest at the pavilion which is located there, if the group agrees. We could build a brief fire in the fireplace to warm ourselves before continuing the hike. The last part of this hike will take us downhill on the Blue Trail and several other trails winding back to our vehicles. There is a possibility of small detours that may be forced on the group by the leader! Dress appropriately with sturdy shoes and blaze orange, carry water and enjoy the day.

Either way we will return to our starting point, partly via another new section of trail in this end of the park. As always, in Coventry Woods there will be steep hills, but mostly towards the end of this hike. Dress for the weather, wear orange and good hiking boots and carry water. A place to lunch later will be determined and is an option.
