GERRRY will lead the SHOEY WAREHOUSE HIKE of about 5 miles in the Shoemakersville – Perry Twp. area. This is an all roads walk and we will see all the new warehouses being constructed and pictures of what it looked like prior. We will circle from the church located at the corner of Hunter-Liggett & Zweizig Rds. passing bridge to Berne and Gus Yatron Park. Optional lunch later.

EUGENIA will lead a hike in BLUE MARSH starting at the SHEIDY BOAT RAMP. The location is between Old Church Road & Heidelburg Road, off Route 183. It is an easy 4 mile in and out hike.

Thursday May 23, 2019 - Covered Bridge Park, Allentown
KAY & KATHY will take you on a 4.5 mile hike from one covered bridge to another alongside beautiful Jordan Creek. It will be a 38 mile drive to entrance of park. There are both shady and wide open spaces, so plan to dress appropriately for weather. Hike will be fairly level walking on park trails and roads.
FIRST MEET: 9:00 A.M. behind McDonald’s 5th St Highway (across from Wal-Mart).
DIRECTIONS AND SECOND MEET: CLOSEST GPS: 2465 Wehr Mill Road, Allentown, PA. We will park in main parking lot. Take 222 north and get on route 22 east. Next take route 309 north about 2.5 miles. Right turn exit at Lime Kiln Road (there is a traffic light). Drive .6 mile and turn right onto Wehr Mill Road. Cross the covered bridge and turn left into the parking lot. Please call and let one of the leaders know if planning to meet at the second meeting place.
