BEV will lead a 4 mile hike around Kaercher Creek Park and a visit to the cemetery in Hamburg. Perhaps the spring flowers will still be in bloom.

 

MEET: 10:00 AM @ Kaercher Creek Park in Hamburg

 

DIRECTIONS: Route 61 North at the Y after Outten Jeep in Hamburg, bear right. At the

second traffic light, turn right onto State Street (after the Strand Theater). Look for the

Pennsylvania Fish Commission sign on the right (across from the former Hamburg Center). Turn

right at the commission sign and bear right at the Y into the boat launch parking lot.

 “YOU” will choose a leader to hike a reasonable distance today starting from the Gring’s Mill parking lot. “YOU” will decide which direction to hike on the Union Canal Trail along the Tulpehocken Creek. “YOU” will decide on a lunch option after the hike.
