ANN & THELMA will lead the hike that was rained out on Saturday, April 23rd, in Sweet Arrow Lake County Park, Pine Grove, Pa. This very moderate hike of 4 – 6 miles is along lakeside and woodland trails and some roads. Sweet Arrow Lake is a 60 acre lake built as a water supply for the Union Canal in the past. The scenery of the lake, along with the boardwalk and foot bridge over the falls in a gorge, makes this trip worthwhile. There is an optional lunch stop at the Red Lion Café on Rte. 443 in nearby Deturksville.
