Thursday August 2, 2012 - Wyomissing Creek

KAY will lead a leisurely stroll of 5 – 6 miles in Wyomissing through the shaded streets and boulevards. Don’t be concerned about the heat because Wyomissing is known as the ‘Tree City”. Except for a few blocks that are sunny, the rest of the trek is rather shady. Perhaps we can hike to Wyomissing’s pedestrian bridge over the West Shore By-pass? This venture will depend on the weather and may be modified if necessary. The terrain is street and field walking, carry water and dress appropriately.

MEET: 10:00 A.M. @ Wyomissing Creek parking lot off Lancaster Ave. in Shillington. (Location is behind the WAWA near bus. rte. 222 and rte. 724.

TELEPHONE: Kay 610-796-7602 if you have questions.
