LES will lead a hike between 5 and 6 miles on NEVERSINK Mountain. The hike begins at the Forest Hills Cemetery. We will take the Cove trail, then use a newly blazed trail to the rock outcropping overlook. From here we proceed to the Witches Hat via another new trail that saves us from climbing another hill. Next we hike to the east side of Neversink where the hike leader wants to look for a reservoir he remembers walking on about 55 years ago. There will be some bush whacking, but at this time of year, do not expect any difficulty. However, this is Neversink, expect several steep hill climbs.
