KAY would like you to come and join the group as they traverse trails along the beautiful Pequea Creek in Silver Mine Park, Lancaster County. The Park was once home to a trailer park and campground and contains a real silver mine. We will start the walk along a hike/bike trail and continue thru fields, woods, around the pond, and a geology walk thru the old mine area. The entire route for this hike will be approximately 5 miles.
MEET: 9:00 A.M. Ollie’s parking lot in Shillington at the junction of routes 222 & 724. (One way drive time = 40 minutes, distance = 34 miles).
TELEPHONE: Kay 610-796-7602 with any questions.
