LES will lead a 5 mile hike in Bryn Coed Preserve, a Natural Lands Park in northern Chester County. This hike utilizes new trails recently opened beginning from a township park at the western end of Bryn Coed. The township park has a 1.5 mile trail around its perimeter with a half mile connector trail to Bryn Coed. At the end of the connector trail, the hikers will have a choice of 2 possibilities. One is 3/4 mile to reach the area of Bryn Coed where prior hiking here has ended. The other is 1 mile through private land to a new entrance to Bryn Coed beyond its south western border. Either way, we return via the 1 mile or 3/4 mile trail, then take the half mile trail back to the township park.
MEET #1: 9:30 AM in the gravel parking lot in the rear of St Peters Village. There will be an approximate 10 mile shuttle to Bryn Coed.
MEET #2: Township parking at Bryn Coed, 1422 St Matthews Rd, Chester Springs
