Thursday Feb 7, 2019 - Blue Marsh

LES will lead a 5.5 mile hike from the Spring Creek parking lot at Blue Marsh. The first 3 miles will follow the main Blue Marsh trail. The return is via Highland and Landis Roads. Snow or ice cancels.

Thursday Jan 31, 2019 - Hamburg

BEV will lead a 4 mile shuttle hike on roads and sidewalks from Five Locks in Perry Township to the Hamburg playground. There will be hills; both up and down, of course.

MEET: 9:45 A.M. @ the Hamburg playground parking lot where we will fill cars/SUVs and travel to the Five Locks area. Deep snow or rain will cancel this hike.

ELAYNE will lead an approx. 4 to 5 miles hike on the Union Canal Towpath trail through Grings Mill to Reading, in and out. Lunch afterwards is optional. Severe weather will cancel this hike,

Thursday Jan 17, 2019 - Blue Marsh

KAY will lead an approx. 6 mile hike in the Blue Marsh Lake area. We will begin at Spring Creek and hike Multi-use Trail to Peacock Road. It will be an in/out hike. A few ups and downs. Hike as far as you wish and turn around or go all the way to Peacock Road. Approximately 6 miles. Hike will cross Spring Creek and follow lake shore for a while. Dress appropriately for weather. Trail may become muddy, if rainy. Call if weather is iffy.
