Thursday Oct 17, 2019 - Antietam Lake

STEFANIE (Al’s Daughter) will lead a hike in the Antietam area. Today we will walk the trails of Antietam Lake Park. Starting at Antietam Dam we will take the trail up to and around the pond at Angora Fruit Farm. From there we will catch a portion of the Gravity Trail and head up the mountain to List Road. We will then circle around and head back down the mountain via additional multi-use trails, crossing over trickling spring water and eventually coming out at the rear of the Nature Center, just above the parking lot where our cars will be waiting. This hike will be approximately 3 miles; however, be prepared for rocky terrain and a few steep inclines.

MEET: at the gated parking area on Angora road directly across from the Antietam Lake. We will depart at 10:00 AM sharp.
