MARGARET will lead a hike of 9+ miles, while welcoming the arrival of spring, by hiking to the newly restored Rausch Gap shelter via the upper and lower railroad beds to reach Rausch Gap. We should be prepared for snowy, icy or muddy conditions depending on the weather. Wear sturdy hiking boots, carry water and dress accordingly. Lunch later is optional.
1st MEET: 9:00 A.M. @ Route 183 & Church Rd. parking lot of Blue Marsh.
2nd MEET: 9:45 A.M. @ Gold Mine Rd. Game land parking lot (on left) at the entrance for the Rail Trail.
