SUZANNE will begin a hike at LOCK 60 along the Schuylkill River in Mont Clare. We will take the high trail down and hopefully have some views of the river and surroundings. We can visit the animals at the Montgomery County Centre and return along the river. Hiking Boots and water are a necessity for this 5 mile hike. Heavy rain would cancel this event. Lunch in Phoenixville will be an option afterwards.
1st MEET: 9:00 A.M. @ Boscov’s east, far parking lot.
2nd MEET: 10:00 A.M. @ LOCK 60 in Mont Clare.
DIRECTIONS: To Lock 60, turn off Rte. 29 bridge onto Towpath Road, a one lane road between the river and canal.
