GERRY will lead an easy 5 mile hike on fairly level terrain in Hamburg and vicinity. The hike will start at the Hamburg Park and follow trails near the Schuylkill River. We will traverse in and out on part of the Bartram Trail. Then, explore an old trail returning to our starting point. Lunch stop afterwards is optional.
1st MEET: 9:30 A.M. @ Redner's Market parking lot in Leesport, just off Rte. 61 N.
2nd MEET: 10:00 A.M. @ Hamburg Park parking lot to meet leader.
DIRECTIONS: Travel Rte. 61 N. to Hamburg Exit (4th St.) continue to State St. turn left go to 2nd St. turn right go to Island St. turn left to the parking lot.
