HERB has mapped a 4-5 mile round trip winter hike on the Welsh Mountains. We will start at the Money Rocks County Park trailhead, hike on park trails and visit Money Rocks, the Welsh Mountain Preserve and the Cockscomb Rocky Ridge. We will hear some new tales of the outlaws who once roamed this area. The trails are rocky but we will avoid the steepest hills and most difficult trails. Lunch afterwards is an option.
MEET 9:30 a.m. at the Dollar Store Parking lot off Route 10 across from the Windmill Rest. in Morgantown or at Money Rocks parking lot on Narvon Road.
