JODY will lead the “Elverson Turkey Trot” hike, a 3 to 3.5 mile walk in Elverson Borough on Thanksgiving morning. We will walk around Livingood Park and then head down Chestnut Street and follow the old rail bed to Park Avenue. We may look for not-so-wild turkeys along the way. We will then enjoy the quiet streets of the Summerfield development before returning to the park. Lunch afterwards is an option, depending on what is open on Thanksgiving morning.
MEET: 10:00 A.M. at the upper parking lot of Livingood Park on South Chestnut Street.
NOTE: Snow, rain, sleet, hail or high winds will cancel this walk. Call if there is any question about the weather.
